Sony Ericsson K770i
Updated on March 5th, 2010 ( 35,625 views ) 4 comments
Due to the need of some original pictures in this blog, I had bought a Sony Ericsson K770i mobile phone. Before this I only use VGA mobile pone (Motorola V36) because I don’t see a need to have a mobile phone with better camera performance.
At Mac 2010, you can get K770i for not more than RM500. But to get the 5MP original C901, the cost is not less than RM780 (at Mac 2010). Although the prices is much higher than K770i, I doubt that the camera performance will be a lot better. On the other hand, no matter how big the resolution is, at last I will convert it to 500 pixels at most (for blog post). That’s why I choose K770i, the 3.2MP camera already make me satisfied.
That’s the first rule for choosing mobile phone. Know your needs and budget.

K-On hottest band in Japan
Updated on March 5th, 2010 ( 3,452 views ) No comments
K-On is another anime related to music. In K-On, a group of four students gather to make a high school band. However, one of them has no basic in guitar also joined the band. You will see a lot of comedy and fun stuff in K-On. I like the seiyuu (voice actor) for the K-On guitaris; Yui Hirasawa. Her voice is so cute and charming. And if you like cute girls, I am sure you will follow this anime too. I am sure this is the secret that K-On wins DVD of the Year and Gold Disc of the Year Awards despite their plain storyline.
You can watch K-On that is now showing at Astro Animax.

Career Fair 2010
Updated on March 4th, 2010 ( 7,226 views ) 1 comment
Career Fair 2010 (old name was Ekspen) is held in USM Seri Ampangan (Engineering Campus) from 2 to 3 Mac. This Career Fair is meant to final year students so that they can find related companies to be interviewed for job. Gold sponsor for this event is Shell, the giant company in oil industry. Even on the Career Fair committee members’ shirt has Shell’s logo. Wonder how much they sponsored this event.
In contrast to Career Fair, there is mini program for secondary school students called FEC. This program is meant to open the student eyes about universities education and courses offer. I think this mini program is very useful so that students will choose course according to their interest.
So, what’s new in this year Career Fair? To me, 2010 Career Fair looks a little like museum. Why I said so?

Dell computer
Updated on March 2nd, 2010 ( 6,830 views ) 1 comment

Who do not know Dell, a big name in computer related business. Talk about Dell, he actually start his business while in college. At the time, computer set is still new to society. Not many people who can install computer by their own. Looking at this chance, Dell start his business at small scale. He buy computer parts at cheap prices and then he installed all of the parts into complete PC by himself. That’s just the start. Now Dell has their own model of computers and parts (such as Dimension Memory and Dimension RAM).
I believe a lot people should find Dell price is among the best price available in buying PC. Two years ago, my friend bought himself a set of Dell computer. The price is affordable and the spec is really awesome. A lot of big companies also preferred Dell computer as their server. This is nothing to be surprised since Dell computer is said to be top notch in reliability and performance.
Despite a powerful computer, user still need to know that computer memory (RAM) plays a major role in a delivering computer performance and efficiency. Dimension Memory Upgrade might be a good choice to find suitable ram especially ram that related to server computer. Not only for Dell, but for other platforms too. No matter how powerful a computer is, the performance will be bad if the memory size and speed isn’t suit to the processor speed.

How to activate MMS and 3G
Updated on March 1st, 2010 ( 30,417 views ) 2 comments
What is MMS
MMS stands for ‘multimedia messaging service’. In contrast to SMS (short message service), phone user can send longer text message than SMS. Besides that, media such as audio, video and images can embedded in the message too.
Nowadays, there is new style of blogging called micro blogging or live blogging. The main idea of live blogging is to send MMS (picture and text) to Flickr, and then Flickr website will handle the MMS message by automatically creating a blog post at your website based on the MMS. This should save you a lot of time in transferring picture. It is not a dream anymore to blog anywhere by using live blogging, even at a place with no internet connection.
What is 3G
3G is like GPRS with more speed. You can see the details here.

KMPlayer solved MKV subtitles problem
Updated on February 28th, 2010 ( 9,680 views ) 1 comment
MKV video format usually contains video, audio, and subtitle in a same file. That means sometime subtitle file is already embedded inside the MKV file. However, user tends to get problem regarding MKV subtitles. Even for me, the subtitle isn’t showing although I’ve tried many ways. Media Player Classic and Windows Media Player did not work for me. I am sure that there are a few ways that can be done to make the MKV subtitles work with Media Player Classic, but I am too lazy to go through all the hassles.
Then I cross upon a video player called KMPlayer. Although the name is still new to me, this video player works greatly. It shows subtitle very well and you can even adjust the subtitle size easily. Besides Read the rest of this entry »

Updated on February 27th, 2010 ( 2,153 views ) No comments
If you followed Lost tv series starting from the first season, I am sure you must really awaiting for this final season which will conclude a lot of mysteries and secrets along all of the Lost season. I like the way how the director make this series more attractive by inserting flashback and sometimes fast forward between the current time.
Although Lost season 6 is already out, ASTRO (AXN) is really slow because they just showed Lost season 5 first episode last week.
Here I list a few mysteries that I think will be solved in this final season. Beware, contain spoilers. Don’t continue if you still do not watch the previous season (unless you want to be spoiled). Read the rest of this entry »

How to print effectively
Updated on February 23rd, 2010 ( 479 views ) No comments
Sometimes people always overlook something that is actually simple to do. For example, do you know that there is a way to print a lot of files in one click? Usually you need to print Microsoft Word documents that contains in different files. Certain people will open the file one by one, and print it one by one. Too much time needed and wasting time.
If they tried to learn about Operating System a bit more, they will know that they can actually print in a bulk by selecting all of the Microsoft Word files, right click and then press ‘Print’. Done. So easy. In contrast to printing the document files manually, you cannot edit the file first or change how the files are going to be printed. Usually I would choose ‘ Read the rest of this entry »
